Anthony Harris Jr., MD, MS

About Dr. Harris

Dr. Harris earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and earned his medical degree and masters degree in science at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After residency in internal medicine, Dr. Harris worked in private practice and currently practices house call medicine. He enjoys sports and is married with two young sons.

As a primary care physician, Dr. Harris has treated many patients with diabetes and obesity related illness, such as high blood pressure and heart disease.

Dr. Harris and his wife Sonja (a former pharmaceutical sales consultant)created this website to educate diabetic patients on the care and management of diabetes in the African American community.
